Kriti was born on 27 July 1990 in New Delhi to a well-educated family. Her father Mr Rahul Sanon is a Chartered Accountant and her mother is an  Associate Professor at Delhi University. Nupur Sanon is the name of her sister. Kriti did her schooling from  Delhi Public School, R K Puram and later completed her B.Tech degree from  Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Uttar Pradesh in Electronics and Communication. In 2014, she made her debut in acting with a Telugu film directed by Sukumar. The name of this film was Nenokkadine and was a real psychological thriller.
